Two Door Cinema Club - Come Back Home

This year seems to be a great year for indie lovelies Two Door Cinema Club and this single is the fourth to be taken from their debut album Tourist History. Come Back Home has a wonderful Bloc Partyesque swirling guitar that hits right from the beginning and is repeated throughout the track. There is something almost electro feeling about this track with some slight computer game shooting sounds added in at parts and the electric guitar is given a real emphasis.

Of course Two Door Cinema Club wouldn’t be as great as they are if they didn’t have something so unbelievably catchy about them. Every single they have released has had an amazing ability to pull you in and swallow you whole. Come Back Home is less indiefied (yes I am making up words again) as their previous singles and as well as the aforementioned swirling guitar there is an anthemic quality about this song, it’s their heaviest track, listen to that throbbing sound throughout the chorus, something bands like The Music or Doves would be associated with; that big meaty heart within a song. It’s simply another fantastic single, something that is easily said.
